Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of MunimJi ("we", "us"), an AI accounting assistant delivered over WhatsApp, operated by Momentum Apps (momentumapps.in), India. By chatting with MunimJi or using a paid plan, you agree to these Terms. Contact: support@momentumapps.in.

1. What MunimJi does

MunimJi creates GST invoices with PDF, manages customers and products, records expenses, and shows sales and profit reports through a WhatsApp chat. It is a bookkeeping assistant, not a chartered accountant, tax advisor, or GST filing service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be 18 or older and use MunimJi for a genuine business.
• Your account is your WhatsApp number. Keep your phone secure — activity from it is treated as yours.
• One account per business unless a plan states otherwise.

3. Free trial

The standard WhatsApp signup includes a 7-day full-feature trial, starting with your first invoice, with no payment setup required. It moves to Free automatically after the trial. One trial per business.

Website AutoPay trial offer: the setup wizard at /start requires a WhatsApp number and successful AutoPay authorization. Access begins after authorization, with at least 7 free days before the exact first-charge date displayed at checkout. After that date, ₹499 total is charged every month until cancelled. No subscription fee is collected during the trial; Razorpay may temporarily debit ₹5 to authorize the card or UPI mandate and automatically refund it. This is separate from the subscription fee. Cancel before the first charge on the setup page or in your UPI app to stop the renewal; remaining trial access and saved data are retained.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Plans: Free (5 invoices/month) and the MunimJi paid plan at ₹499/month or ₹4,999/year launch pricing (regular ₹749/month, ₹7,999/year), exclusive of 18% GST. Launch members keep launch pricing on renewals while subscribed.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI Autopay, cards, net-banking). We never see or store your card/UPI credentials.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel anytime from the chat (say "cancel subscription") or by email — access continues till the paid period ends, with no partial refunds (see Refund Policy).
• Failed renewals get a 7-day grace period with reminders; afterwards the account moves to Free.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice inside the chat; existing paid periods are unaffected.

5. Fair use

Free includes 5 invoices/month, Starter 50/month, Business unlimited. Automated bulk use, reselling access, or sharing one account across businesses may lead to limits or suspension.

6. Your data & accuracy

• You are responsible for the correctness of names, amounts, GSTINs, HSN/SAC codes and tax details you provide or approve.
• GST calculations follow standard CGST/SGST/IGST rules, but filing decisions are yours and your CA's. Verify HSN codes, rates and totals before filing returns.
• AI features (including HSN suggestions and memories) can err — always confirm before generating.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use MunimJi for fraud, fake invoicing, harassment, spam, or anything illegal under Indian law. Don't probe, scrape, or disrupt the service.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend accounts for non-payment, abuse, or legal reasons, with notice where practical. You may stop anytime by cancelling; your data remains exportable for 90 days via support email, then may be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, tax penalties, or filing errors. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

10. Changes & law

We may update these Terms with notice in-chat; continued use means acceptance. Governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai.
